Michelle O'Connor, Chair

Michelle has been a dedicated member of the Chilmark Community Center family for nearly 20 years, serving on the Chilmark Town Affairs Council as Secretary, Chair of the Summer Program Committee, Chair of the Executive Director search, and now as Board Chair. Her commitment to youth development and community engagement is reflected in her own family — all five of her sons have attended CCC programs, and each has worked at the Center. A Chilmark summer resident for 26 years, Michelle credits the CCC for nearly every relationship she has on the island. She also serves on the Chilmark Community Center Advisory Committee and as Deputy Director of the Chilmark Road Race.

Robin Rivera, Vice-Chair

Robin Rivera joined the CTAC Board in 2021, and currently serves as its Vice Chair and Member of the Governance Committee. Robin fondly remembers her family's days at the Center, watching her daughter Alicia form friendships and grow from a camper to a counselor. Formerly an Emmy-winning producer and programming executive for ABC Sports, Robin continues to work on independent projects from her home in Chilmark including putting the finishing touches on her first novel. A year-round resident of Chilmark for the past five years, she currently sits on the board of Sheriffs Meadow Foundation and ACE MV.

Keith Fenner, Treasurer

Keith Fenner was elected to the Board in February 2025, is CTAC's Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee and is a member of the Nominating Committee. As a small business owner in Chilmark, he brings a deep commitment to community service and a strong financial acumen to his role on the CTAC Board. A life long, year-round resident of Martha's Vineyard, Keith graduated from the Chilmark School and both he and his children spent many summer days at the Center.

Morgan Baker, Secretary

Morgan Baker has been a longstanding member of the CTAC Board, formerly serving as Summer Chair and now serving as Secretary and as a member of the Executive and Governance Committees. Morgan's love for the Chilmark Community Center started when her children were campers, and then counselors. Her daughter met her husband at the Center and they plan for their daughter to become a CCC kid. A life-long summer resident of Martha's Vineyard, Morgan is invested in carrying on the stewardship of the island and its community. She teaches at Emerson College and is a published author.

Lee Berresford

Lee is one of CTAC's newest Board members and serves on the Summer Program Committee. Lee grew up attending the CCC and worked at the Playschool as a counselor. Both her children attended the CCC as campers and later as counselors. Lee credits the CCC for being responsible for every friendship she has made on the island. When not on the island, she works in New York as a graphic designer whose work has been featured in Rolling Stone, O magazine, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, and Martha Stewart Living.

Jay Brelis-Farrell

Jay has more than a decade of experience working at the Chilmark Community Center. As a child, he would frequent the Vineyard and the CCC, becoming a full-time summer resident in his early teens. It was at the camp that he met his wife. After several years as a counselor, he served as Camp Director for 3 years before joining the Board in 2021. He brings strong leadership, a love of sports, and a commitment to building an inclusive, energetic camp environment where every child can thrive.

Miles Brucculeri

Miles is a passionate community advocate and dedicated father who has brought warmth, creativity, and hands-on energy to the CTAC Board since joining in 2022. A year-round resident of Martha's Vineyard, Miles brings experience as a past Camp Director in the Hamptons and an accomplished open water swimmer, lifeguard trainer, and musician. Whether pitching in at events or helping shape the Center's vision, Miles is committed to ensuring CCC remains a vibrant and welcoming space for all.

Katie Carroll

Katie moved to town 35 years ago and now raises her two children and runs their family business, Menemsha Texaco. She was an elected member of the Chilmark Board of Health where she still serves as board chair, was on the Chilmark School PTO for 10 years, and was a founding member of both the Chilmark Preschool and the MV Fishermen's Preservation Trust. Currently she serves as Vice-Chair of the MV Striped Bass & Bluefish Derby committee and Chair of the Chilmark Historical Commission.

Anne Mayhew

Anne is a recent addition to the CTAC Board and serves on its Finance Committee. As a 30-year resident of Chilmark, she and her husband's four children and their two grandchildren grew up going to the CCC. Her father-in-law Benjamin Mayhew was a Selectman for the Town of Chilmark when the Community Center was built in the 1950s. Anne recently retired from a 26-year career in real estate on the island and served for 21 years on the Board for the Chilmark Preschool.

Cory Medeiros

A seventh generation Island resident, Cory brings a wealth of youth and safety experience to the Board. He is certified as a school resource officer, in juvenile law and in sexual assault advocacy, and has over 5 years experience on the Tisbury Police Force. When not protecting the community, Cory volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Cory is excited to give back to the younger generation in his role as a Board member.

Mathea Morais

A board member since 2025, Mathea brings deep knowledge and experience to the CCC having served as its Director for two seasons. Mathea has been a year-round resident of Chilmark for 17 years, raising her three daughters on Martha's Vineyard and influencing countless children during her 15 year tenure as a teacher at the Martha's Vineyard Public Charter School. She is the Director of the Literary Arts Program at Featherstone Center for the Arts and a published novelist.

Katharine Poole

Katharine was born in Chilmark and started attending the CCC before her earliest memory. Growing up, the CCC was a place for her family to gather — a place where the children made lifelong friends while the adults could connect. Katharine's first job was as a counselor at the CCC and she credits both her camp and counselor experience as fueling her love of performance and the theater. She later worked as the Managing Director of the Martha's Vineyard Performing Arts Center for three years.

Ismail Samad

Ismail joined the Board in 2021 and currently serves on the Finance Committee. A social entrepreneur, chef, and community builder with deep experience in launching mission-driven enterprises and revitalizing local food systems, Ismail brings a strategic and values-driven perspective to the CTAC Board. His time living in Chilmark and sending his children to the Chilmark School and the CCC sparked his commitment to support the CCC's mission.

Casey Elliston

Casey Elliston was born and raised in Chilmark and is proud to still live there year-round with his partner Julia and their two kids, Winston and Willa. Casey grew up attending the CCC summer camp and has strong ties to the town community. As a lifelong local, Casey cares deeply about the CCC maintaining what made it so special for him as a kid. Casey works as a stone mason and as a commercial fisherman out of Menemsha. When he’s not working, he can be found playing with his kids or metal detecting.
