Working at the Chilmark Community Center isn't just a summer job. It's leading kids through Olympics Week, teaching a first-timer to sail, watching a shy camper come out of their shell, and building friendships that last well beyond Labor Day. Join the Summer Program Committee. This is where ideas become reality. This is the group that shapes what camp looks like each summer — from new activities and partnerships to how we respond to what families are telling us they need. The committee is led by the Executive Director and includes Board members, volunteers, and community members who care deeply about creating the best possible experience for Chilmark kids and families. No experience required — just a love for this community and a willingness to show up. If you've ever thought "camp should try this" or "what if we added that," this is your seat at the table.
