PREPARING FOR REGISTRATION
This year we are introducing a new camp software registration system called Sawyer. To complete registration for your child or children in the new registration software system, you should have the following ready:
CREATE A PROFILE/ ADD YOUR CHILDREN TO YOUR PROFILE: You can create your Sawyer profile here now. Creating a profile in Sawyer in advance streamlines your registration process and ensures you are ready to secure your spot when registration opens. This is particularly important for Island residents because we can activate your Island Resident Membership prior to registration to give you access to reduced fees at check out (see details below). You must include the name(s) of your child/children in your Sawyer profile for us to be able to activate the Island Resident Membership discount. (To add your child to your Sawyer profile, on a computer (not a smartphone) click on Profiles on the menu bar at the top of your profile. Another box will pop up asking you if you want to add an Adult or Child profile. Click on Child and proceed from there. You must do this for each child.) If you do not create the profile in advance, you can create one at the time of registration.
You must enter a credit card.
MEDICAL FORMS: You will need to upload your child’s medical form from their doctor that includes their immunization record, medical history, allergies and any medical issues that we should be aware of. These forms are provided by your child's doctor, not by us. Please upload the form as instructed one your child has registered for a camp. The system will not allow you to upload prior to registering.
FOR ISLAND RESIDENTS: To receive the Island discount at the time of registration, you should have completed the Island Resident Membership Application and be approved for membership. See below for full details. IF YOUR CHILD IS AN ISLAND RESIDENT, PLEASE ONLY ENROLL THEM IN ISLAND RESIDENT PROGRAMS. CHECK THE LINK YOU ARE USING. DO NOT PUT THEM IN PROGRAMS OR ON WAITLISTS OF NON-ISLAND RESIDENT PROGRAMS.
For Scholarship applicants, please complete the Scholarship Application before registering. Go HERE for details.
15 year olds interested in the new Counselor in Training Program do not register through Sawyer, but apply for the position using the 2025 Counselor Application Form.
Helpful Terminology For Registration
Members: Island residents who have been approved for the Island Resident Membership discount.
Non-Members: Those who are not Island residents or for Island residents who have not yet been approved for the Island Resident Membership discount. Once you are approved, your classification will change.
Island resident discounts for kids ages 3.5 - 14 years
new Island Resident Membership program
Children who are year-round Island residents and enrolled in Island schools receive a discount on fees. The discount varies by program. To receive the discount when you register, you must first apply for and be approved for the Island Resident Membership using the CCC Island Resident Membership Application. To be eligible for this membership, campers must be currently enrolled in a Martha's Vineyard school and proof of registration is required. Once membership is authorized, your child will be enrolled in the CCC Island Resident Membership in CCC's camp registration system and you will have access to members only registration by camp. IF YOUR CHILD IS AN ISLAND RESIDENT, PLEASE ONLY ENROLL THEM IN ISLAND RESIDENT PROGRAMS. CHECK THE LINK YOU ARE USING. DO NOT PUT THEM IN PROGRAMS OR ON WAITLISTS OF NON-ISLAND RESIDENT PROGRAMS. We have provided a full week of IR only registration to make this process easier.
If your child did not have a profile in Sawyer last year to facilitate receiving the Island Resident Membership discount, please create a profile in Sawyer as soon as possible. You can create your Sawyer profile here now. Include the name(s) of your child/children in your Sawyer profile so we are able to activate the Island Resident Membership discount when it is approved. If your child is a returning camper only the Island Resident Application is required and we will update your IR membership for 2025.
It may take a few days to get Island Resident Membership approval. If you do not get your application completed or approved before IR registration begins please reach out to our admin team admin@chilmarkcommunitycenter.org.
SCHOLARSHIPS
If you wish your child to be considered for a scholarship, please go HERE for details on how to register and to complete the Scholarship Application Form.
ALL DAY CAMP
All day camp is available for ages 6 -12 who participate in the Afternoon Youth Camp or 8-14 who participate in the Afternoon Tennis Camp. Campers need to register for both the morning and afternoon sessions separately. Non-island residents can receive a discount of $50 per week if they register for the same child in both the morning and afternoon program in the same week. Waitlist
If the session you want is full, please add your child to the waitlist. (Do not register them in another program for which they are not eligible!) We will be filling spaces as they become available off of the waitlist in the order they were added. Priority is given to Island children. We work hard to accommodate as many children as possible while ensuring that they are safe and well-supervised. Most kids got off of the waitlist last summer. If a spot opens you will automatically be registered and charged so if you are not longer interested please remove your child from the waitlist and the 10% admin fee will be applied to all cancelations.
Refund Policy:
Before June 1: Full refund minus 10% administration fee.
Up to 14 Days Before Session Start: 50% refund.
Within 14 Days of Session Start: No refunds.
Transfers: Up to 5 days before a session, registrations can be transferred to another session for the same child (if space is available) for a $15 fee.
