**Non-Member playing with Member
Non-members are welcome to book courts at a rate of $40 per hour, based upon space available, may participate in round robin play, and may book lessons with one of our pros. Please inquire at the Tennis Shack for a full list of rack rates for these services. For the purposes of these tennis policies, the term “non-member” refers to individuals who do not have a tennis membership, including those who are members of the Center but do not have a tennis membership.
Center members are welcome to bring guests with them when they play. A guest pass ($15 each) allows one guest to play for one hour with a tennis member; each guest requires his or her own pass. Guests may not play without a member present; in this situation the $40 per hour non-member rate will apply.
Members not canceling reserved courts at least one hour before their reserved time will lose their reservation privileges for 24 hours. This policy is designed to reduce unused court time during high-demand hours.
Only smooth-soled tennis shoes and sneakers are allowed on the clay courts. Cross trainers are not allowed on the clay courts. Black-soled shoes are not allowed on the all-weather courts.
Eddie is an important part of both the adult and kid’s tennis programs. His influence with CCC kids has been particularly special — inspiring them not only to play tennis, but to swim in island waters, paddle board, eat healthfully and do yoga. He is the pied piper to our younger players and an excellent teacher to all
